art in romney marsh 2010 returns for a fourth year. It is a contemporary arts project providing an opportunity for artists to create site specific work in response to the inspiring medieval churches of Romney Marsh. Romney Marsh is located in a unique landscape on the south east tip of the Kent coastline, within easy reach of Ashford, Rye and Hastings. The juxtaposition of contemporary art and the ancient church sites creates an opportunity for an exciting dialogue between the ancient and modern.

art in romney marsh 2010 will take place over 4 weekends of 25th /26th of September, 2nd/3rd, 9th/10th, 16th/17th of October. The exhibition opening times are 1.00pm to 5pm.

This year, work will be shown in and around nine selected churches.
