As an important link to the exciting events happening at Folkestone Triennial, Art in Romney Marsh 2011 will see 16 contemporary artists exhibiting specially created, site-specific work in five of the area’s medieval churches.

The project will take place over four weekends: 17/18 and 24/25 September and 1/2 and 8/9 October in the churches at Old Romney, Ivychurch, Newchurch, Burmarsh and Lydd.

Curators include Jonathan Wright, Andrew Kötting and Angela Kingston and there will also be live music from Bela Emerson, North Sea Radio Orchestra and John Blood.
